Product overview
ImmoClassic is a shoulder immobilisation sling designed to support and immobilise the shoulder and elbow. It features an adjustable and trimmable strap system allowing individualised adjustments. The straps allow the arm to be positioned under the chest or in a neutral position. The armsleeve protects and sustains the forearm. Soft and light fabrics have been chosen to provide comfort. A neck pad helps to relieve pressure around the cervical area.

Indications

• Shoulder and/or elbow injuries or inflammatory conditions
• Conservative treatment for non-surgical proximal humeral fractures
• Shoulder dislocation
• Non-surgical fractures of the clavicle and/or scapula
• Post-operative immobilisation (e.g. after rotator cuff repair or reduction of a dislocation)
• Prevention of shoulder subluxation or dislocation in cases of joint instability
• Support for a paralysed upper limb

Contraindications

• Do not use if the diagnosis has not been confirmed
• Do not apply in direct contact with broken skin
• Do not use in case of known allergy to any component
• Not suitable in certain post-operative situations (multiple fractures, pin fixation, open fractures)
• Not indicated for complex surgical shoulder fractures, humeral shaft fractures or rib cage fractures
