The ME 4C NT +2AK chemistry vacuum system is a single-stage diaphragm pump assembly combining a favourable pumping speed with an ultimate vacuum down to 70 mbar (52 torr). It is suited for continuous evacuation and pumping of corrosive gases and solvent vapors in chemical, biological and pharmaceutical laboratories when outlet condensation is not required or is handled by separators. Typical applications include vacuum ovens, single and multiple filtrations, and solvent concentration of low-boiling solvents. The glass inlet separator (AK) with protective coating retains particles and liquid droplets; the outlet separator collects condensate, prevents backflow and reduces exhaust noise.
