The SMR 100's stem is a modular system designed for hip replacement in particular cases of dysplasia, osteotomies and fractures. The stem features 3 components: proximal, distal and locking screw. Proximal component The mirror polishing in the neck area has been designed to eliminate the risk of fatigue cracks; Materials: Titanium alloy Ti 6Al 4V Grade 5 ELI that guarantees excellent biocompatibility and mechanical resistance, the surface finish is obtained by abrasion with corundum granules that increase the contact surface, facilitating the prosthesis-bone anchorage.
