Deflection and directional control with balanced penetration force and torque response. The ASAHI Gaia PV guidewire is intended for peripheral vascular and complex lesion crossing, combining a micro-cone ball tip, tip flexibility and ACT ONE multi-wire coil technology to enable controlled advancement.

Key features

• Micro-cone tip penetrability: reduced ball tip diameter improves entry through hard tissue and fibrous cap.
• Tip flexibility and deflection control: flexible tip avoids hard tissue and enables rotational deflection to guide the wire into the distal true lumen.
• 1 mm pre-shaped tip: factory pre-shape improves tip shape retention and steering consistency.

Technology
ACT ONE: a multi-wire coil technology using proprietary wire drawing, forming and torque processes. ACT ONE optimizes the balance of torque force, torque response, durability and rigidity in guidewires and microcatheters for high performance during lesion crossing.
