Overview
Controlled Drug Cabinets designed for the custody and secure storage of controlled drugs in medical and hospital environments. Models are available in multiple sizes and configurations to suit ward, clinic and ancillary service requirements; modular design allows interchange with HTM 63 storage systems.

Features

• Meets or exceeds the statutory requirement for storage of controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1973 (except models CD045 & CD145)
• BS 3621 anti-pick & drill, key-retaining six-pin cylinder lock (supplied with 2 keys & identification card)
• Unique Hospital Metalcraft Ltd key profile offering 250,000 differs per profile
• Compatible with CLIQ®: integrates electronic access control into high-security mechanical disc cylinders and keys for combined electronic and mechanical security with remote management
• Optional micro-switch for remote lighting/nurse call connection (CD905), or 12V DC LED lighting/warning system with volt-free contact for integration with light or nurse call systems
• Lighting/warning system requires 100V–240V AC, 50Hz–60Hz, 0.3A mains supply; supplied with UK 3‑pin plug; CE marked and conforms to Low Voltage and EMC directives
• Lighting transformer casing adds 105mm to overall height
• 1.5mm mild steel, seamless welded construction
• Rear mounting holes provided (fixings not included)
• Adjustable and removable shelves
• Security of models CD005, CD010 & CD015 can be enhanced by concealing inside a Drug & Medicine Cabinet
• Modular design allows easy interchange with HTM 63 storage systems
