OverviewThe C303H is a laboratory-grade water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) test system for precise, repeatable WVTR measurements of films, plastics and sheet materials. It uses a patented infrared moisture sensor and supports standard test methods such as ASTM F1249, ISO 15106-2 and JIS K7129.
Key features- Infrared moisture sensor: patented non‑consumable infrared sensor providing low detection limits, over-limit alarm and automatic protection.
- Accurate data: 360° air‑circulation constant‑temperature control, high‑precision temperature and humidity sensors, automated control of flow, temperature and RH; repeatability down to 0.005 g/(m²·day).
- Three independent chambers: three 50 cm² standard‑area chambers for parallel testing of three samples under identical conditions with independent data and automatic sample clamping for consistent sealing.
- Intelligent control: 12-inch Windows touch panel with automatic mode for one‑click start; drawer‑type chambers with one‑key automatic in/out and audible/visual alerts.
- Safety and reliability: embedded industrial computer, optical/intelligent sensors and sound‑light alarms; built with globally sourced components for stable long‑term operation.
- Advanced functions: professional testing mode, automatic generation of WVTR and related curves; configurable extended ranges and optional software/compliance packages.
Testing principle- A pre‑treated sample is clamped between high‑ and low‑humidity chambers. Humidified nitrogen flows on the high‑humidity side and dry nitrogen on the low‑humidity side. Water vapor diffuses through the sample to the low‑humidity side, where dry nitrogen carries the vapor to the infrared sensor. The sensor signal is analyzed and converted to WVTR values.
