The C370H is a gravimetric water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) test system designed for films, sheet materials and containers used in pharmaceutical packaging, food, medical devices and related sectors. It performs wide-range WVTR testing in accordance with ASTM E96 and GB/T 1037.
Product Features- 360° air-circulating constant-temperature design for a stable test environment and uniform airflow over test dishes.
- High-precision temperature and humidity sensing and control with real-time monitoring.
- Pneumatic chamber sealing isolates the test chamber from the weighing chamber to prevent temperature/humidity effects on the balance.
- Three-dimensional centered purge design providing consistent airflow across test dishes; selectable standard air-flow rates.
- Chamber-type fog-free humidification that eliminates the need for an internal humidifier.
- High-precision electronic balance with external weight calibration, automatic zero reset, cylinder lift/rotation and intermittent weighing to reduce system error.
- 10.6" medical-grade touchscreen for independent host operation and fully automatic test execution with automatic data storage.
- Platform software for synchronous control of multiple hosts and centralized data management; built-in Ethernet for remote control and system upgrades.
- Professional computer software meeting GMP traceability requirements and multi-level permission management; electronic signature design aligned with 21 CFR Part 11 (optional).
Test Principle- A pre-treated specimen is sealed in a test dish containing either water or desiccant and placed in the controlled test chamber.
- Under specified temperature, humidity and airflow conditions, water vapor diffuses through the specimen to the dry side.
- A high-precision balance measures weight change of the dish over time and the system calculates the specimen's WVTR and related results.
