Overview
Planmeca Viso® G7 is a CBCT imaging unit designed for dental, ENT and maxillofacial applications. It provides an adjustable field of view up to 30 x 30 cm to cover examinations ranging from a single tooth to the full skull.

Intelligent software and tools
Planmeca Viso® G7 is integrated with Planmeca Romexis® imaging software and supports proprietary tools and protocols for dose and image management, including:

• Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ protocol
• Planmeca CALM® motion artefact correction

Positioning and user interface
Patient positioning is performed from the unit control panel using integrated cameras and a live patient view for precise FOV alignment. Volume size is freely adjustable and the open design facilitates operator–patient interaction during acquisition.

Patient support
The device includes a rear head and neck support that stabilises the patient while maintaining comfort. The support does not obstruct the ears in 3D facial photography and the unit can be used without a chin cup when Planmeca CALM® motion correction is applied.

Image quality and X‑ray tube
The system uses a tube voltage up to 120 kV to improve contrast and reduce artefacts in challenging cases, contributing to consistent diagnostic images.

Endodontic imaging
Dedicated endodontic imaging is available with a 75 µm mode and AI-based Planmeca NOA™ noise optimisation to produce high-resolution CBCT images suitable for endodontic diagnosis.

Cephalometry
Planmeca ProCeph™ one-shot cephalostat can be added to enable cephalometric acquisitions with short exposure times to minimise motion artefacts.

3D facial photography
Planmeca ProFace® option includes four built-in cameras and LED light strips for detailed 3D facial captures. Facials can be fused with intraoral scans and CBCT data to support 3D treatment planning.
