Overview The Planmeca ProScanner® 2.0 imaging plate scanner delivers fast, reliable intraoral image digitisation for dental clinics. Its compact, maintenance-free design integrates into daily workflows to reduce downtime and support efficient chairside and multi-room use.

Reliable performance Designed as a seamless part of the clinic workflow, the ProScanner 2.0 provides durable, maintenance-free operation. The compact footprint allows installation in any treatment or shared-room environment, helping clinics maintain continuous operation.

Smart features for daily use The scanner uses RFID-enabled imaging plates for fast identification. High-quality reusable flexible plates are comfortable for patients and available in sizes 0, 1 and 2. An integrated eraser prepares plates instantly for the next exposure.

Quick and easy operation The scanning workflow is simple: insert the imaging plate, scan and review the captured image for diagnosis. The system makes wrong-side exposures immediately visible in the scanned image, preventing misfiling.

Software and system integration Planmeca ProScanner 2.0 integrates with Planmeca Romexis® imaging software. Scans can be initiated from Romexis; images are automatically oriented, assigned tooth numbers and placed in study templates. Each plate has a digital serial number for sorting, viewing and quality-control comparisons, and for counting exposures via Romexis.

Automatic imaging parameter recording When paired with a Planmeca ProX™ intraoral X-ray unit and Planmeca Romexis, patient dose and exposure parameters can be recorded automatically in ProScanner 2.0 images to support quality assurance.
