Description

Overview
  • VACUU·SELECT vacuum controller with graphical user interface simplifies laboratory workflows
  • Predefined applications save time and ensure reproducible results
  • Easy-to-use application editor for creating custom process sequences
  • Chemistry-compatible two-stage diaphragm pump (MZ 2C NT) with condensate tolerance
  • Exhaust vapor condenser for near-complete solvent recovery when used with chilled water or a chiller

Product summary
The PC 500-series chemistry pumping units integrate an MZ 2C NT two-stage chemistry diaphragm pump and the VACUU·SELECT controller to support electronically controlled evaporation and drying processes. The controller offers manual set-point control, predefined distillation programs and a drag-and-drop editor to build custom sequences. For solvent evaporation, boiling-pressure detection switches the system to two-point control to stabilise pressure during boiling. The inlet separator (glass with protective coating) prevents particles and liquid droplets from entering the pump, extending pump life. When connected to a chilled water line or recirculating chiller, the exhaust vapor condenser enables nearly complete solvent recovery to support recycling and emission reduction.
