Working Principle
The 808nm diode laser targets melanin in the hair follicle, delivering controlled thermal energy to damage the follicular unit and inhibit regrowth. The system provides adjustable pulse durations to concentrate thermal effect on hair matrix stem cells while minimising impact on surrounding tissue. Integrated contact cooling with a sapphire tip protects the epidermis before, during and after pulses to reduce patient discomfort and allow safe treatment across a range of skin phototypes.
