Milano is a mixer-scale for blood collection combining weight measurement and mixing functions with bidirectional data communication for collection management.

Delcon Milano was awarded the 2022 Compasso d'Oro (XXVII ADI Compasso D'Oro) for innovation in blood collection devices, developed in collaboration with Cefriel and the New York Blood Center.

Main features
BECS / ERP connectivity at its core: Milano supports bidirectional integration with leading ERPs to manage collection workflows and enable procedures such as integrated donor identity verification via the Milano display. Bidirectionality is supported via DelcoNet, Delcon's data management middleware.

Meant for mobile environments
Slim enclosure and integrated barcode reader suit mobile collection logistics. Swappable battery design enables rapid battery changes and supports up to 100 collections per full charge. An optional transport case is available to enhance safety during transport.

Highly precise for faster processing
Milano is certified as a measurement device. The scale provides 1 g precision and a dedicated start/stop mode to accurately weigh the bag at end of collection, reducing processing time in the component laboratory.
