Automatic extractor designed for standardized blood component production with efficient workflows, built-in safety features and minimal waste. The unit automates bag handling, separation layer control and precise weighing to support reproducible blood component processing.

Main features

• 5 clamps central to the extraction process: they open or inhibit flow between bags, seal tubes at process end and provide clear operational feedback.
• Each clamp integrates a dual optical sensor to detect fluid presence and correct tube positioning, preventing incorrect operations due to missing or misaligned tubes.
• Two-colour illuminated dome on each clamp for bag loading status and diagnostics.
• 10 optical detectors in the main press for fine control of the separation layer position and high motion accuracy, enabling precise buffy coat adjustment and hematocrit control.
• Main press made of flat, wear-resistant glass for easy cleaning; press movement is electronically controlled with a speed profile up to 5 steps.
• Smooth one-piece moulded top cover to minimise liquid ingress and simplify cleaning.
