Overview For smaller schools and colleges where a fume cupboard may not be in constant use or space is at a premium, mobile recirculating fume cupboards from Envair Technology provide a compact, flexible solution. The units feature glass panels on all four sides for 360° visibility of experiments and are designed to pass comfortably through standard door openings for easy movement between labs or classrooms. When required for use the unit locks into a docking station; when lessons finish it can be returned against a wall. The robust lockable docking station houses water, gas, drainage and power connections with quick-release fittings to enable safe, repeatable connection and disconnection. The hood recirculates laboratory air via an integral fan and a 25 kg carbon filter suitable for standard GCSE and A Level chemicals. Annual maintenance including carbon filter saturation testing and replacement is available in line with COSHH requirements. All Envair Technology educational fume cupboards are designed to CLEAPSS Guide G9 and are independently tested and approved by CLEAPSS.
