Vivaspin® Filtrate centrifugal concentrators enable concentration of difficult-to-filter biological samples (e.g., whole blood, cell lysates) with a maximum starting volume of 2.5 ml. Devices fit rotors that accept 15 ml centrifuge tubes. The patented piston design directs ultrafiltration opposite to the centrifugal force and collects filtrate in an inserted piston tube to avoid premature membrane fouling and simplify recovery of the concentrate.
