Ddimer containing moieties are formed by plasmin dégradation of factor Xilla cross linked fibrin. Elevated levels of Ddimer are found in dinical conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Ddimer levels rise during pregnancy and high levels are associated with complications. SPECIFICATIONS ACCURACY - The bias of control is ±10%. PRECISION - The CV of the test should be 5S%.
