Sodium is determined enzymatically via sodium dépendent ft-galactosidase activity with ONPG as substrate. The absorbance at 405 nm of the product O-nitrophenyl is proportional to the sodium concentration. SPECIFICATIONS ACCURACY - The bias of control is ±10%. PRECISION - The CV of the test should be <5%. LINEARITY - The assay is linear up to 195 mmol/L.
