OverviewThe CuratOR MIR Browser is a desktop software solution for physicians to access, review and manage surgical videos recorded on NAS or external media from office or conference-room PCs. It reads patient metadata entered at recording and provides tools for review, clipping, annotation and privacy masking to support consultation, training and research workflows.
Key functions- Management and search: organize recordings by patient name, patient ID, recording date and other metadata; add free-text notes to recordings to improve retrieval.
- Playback of recorded medical videos: open videos recorded with EIZO MIR-1 stored on NAS or external media (USB HDD/SSD).
- Dual video display: view simultaneous recordings side-by-side with Picture-by-Picture (PbyP) or Picture-in-Picture (PiP) layouts for comparative review.
- Video clipping and editing: select segments from recordings and save as video clips or still images through an intuitive editing interface.
- Annotation tools: mark regions in video frames with the mouse to highlight findings or points of interest.
- Privacy masking: obscure specified video areas (for example patient name) to protect privacy for educational or presentation use.
- 3D to 2D conversion: display one half of side-by-side or top-and-bottom 3D signals in 2D for playback without a 3D monitor.
Additional product features- Save clipped segments and still images from individual frames for documentation and teaching.
- Integration with patient metadata recorded with the video to streamline contextual access.
- Annotation and marking support to enhance comprehension during review and training.
