OverviewSPINEfit 2TLSO+ is a modular hyperextension thoracolumbar orthosis designed to provide firm stabilization of the thoracic-lumbar spine (application area from T3 to L5). The SPINEfit system is modular, allowing addition or removal of elements to achieve the required stabilization level during a patient's rehabilitation. The orthosis is lightweight, elastic, easy to adjust and fits anatomically to off-load and precisely support the spine.
Design and constructionRear durable frame provides excellent stabilization. The upper part of the rear frame includes an adjusted ABS pad with two polyamide buckles and four elastic side ABS elements to stabilize the spine in the frontal plane. The lower part of the rear frame includes an adjusted sacral pad. Plastic side elements together with the sacral pad are covered by skin-friendly, soft ActiveDistance II™ fabric.
The front splint consists of an adjusted splint with sternum, chest, abdominal and pubic pads. The chest and sternum pads have two polyamide buckles connected with side semi-rigid elements. All pads are made of ABS and covered by soft, skin-friendly ActiveDistance II™ fabric. The front splint together with pads stabilizes the spine in the sagittal plane. Semi-rigid plastic elements have removable polyamide buckles allowing the orthosis to match the patient’s anatomic shape. Buckles can be removed and reassembled to adjust circumference; excessive parts of plastic elements can be trimmed if necessary. Buckles are connected with easy-to-attach straps with length adjustment.
MaterialsActiveDistance II™: an active 3-layered fabric made of a non-elastic polyamide self-gripping layer, comfort foam and cotton terry. The cotton terry layer helps to keep skin dry. This material is skin-friendly and certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The self-gripping function of ActiveDistance II™ allows precise fitting of the brace.
