Description
Dynamic back brace with CCA system SCORPION is a professional medical device offering stabilization and support of the spine. The brace features an anatomically shaped aluminum back panel, compression CCA System, shoulder straps and a waist belt. The aluminum back panel covers the entire spine from the lower back to the neck, is physiologically shaped to reflect natural spinal curves, provides professional stabilization and pressure relief, reduces intervertebral pressure and the risk of herniated discs, and improves disc hydration. The aluminium panel is covered with a soft, skin-friendly fabric MaxComfort™ that reduces pressure on bony prominences. The waist belt is assembled to the soft back panel element and is equipped with the dynamic compression CCA system; the waist belt is made of breathable, skin-friendly fabric ActiveSpace™.

Technology and materials
ActiveSpace™
ActiveSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation, lightweight and consisting of two layers with polyamide braids between them. It is non-elastic to improve stabilization, allows free air flow between layers, maintains minimal water and moisture absorption and is waterproof.

MaxComfort™
MaxComfort™ is a multilayer material providing high comfort and stabilization: an outer soft knitted fabric (OekoTex Standard100), polyurethane foam for patient comfort and pressure distribution, technical polyethylene foam to relieve structural elements from the body, and a technical fabric layer with self-adhesive function to attach circumferential bands and details.

CCA Compression System
CCA is a dial/steel-wire-based compression system adapted from sport equipment. It provides firm, non-elastic, secure fastening adjustable without tools, enabling different levels of compression and precise circumferential fit. The system uses steel wires, differential polyamide grommets and knobs and is designed to avoid loosening under normal use.

Stiffening
The spine frame is made of a special aluminum alloy, anatomically shaped, powder coated for durability and sweat/water resistance, with holes and rotary buckles to fasten belts and allow fixation to the orthosis.
