Overview
AM-TX-07 upper back brace (Torso support AM-TX-07) is a professional medical product designed to promote correct upright posture and to help prevent spinal deformities associated with osteoporosis and poor posture. The brace covers the thoracic spine including the thoracolumbar region and offers shoulder retraction, improved scapula and chest mobility, and better breathing muscle function.

Clinical context
Osteoporosis leads to loss of bone density and increases risk of vertebral fractures and painful deformities. AM-TX-07 supports adopting an upright posture and can assist in preventing vertebral deformities caused by forward leaning posture.

Product description
AM-TX-07 is made of lightweight, low-profile fabric ActiveRubber II™. The brace is equipped with anatomic-shaped aluminum splints that help maintain correct upright posture and reduce pressure on the backbone and muscles. Splints may be formed according to therapeutic needs and, if necessary, can be removed from special pockets. The brace has armpit straps with optimal width to avoid pressure in armpit areas while correcting shoulder position. Neutral black colour allows discretion during wear.

Materials & reinforcement
Primary fabric: ActiveRubber II™ — a bidirectionally elastic orthopedic rubber providing improved compression, breathability between braids, and gentle skin massage at high compression. Stiffenings: orthopedic profiled stays (spring steel with plastic coating, rounded and protected ends) resistant to corrosion and suitable for washing while in the orthosis.
