Description

AXE lumbosacral brace provides back pain relief and prevents muscle sprain. The device is made of breathable fabric ActiveSpace™.

Design
The AXE back brace consists of two separate, anatomically shaped parts that ensure close fit and allow skin ventilation. The rear section includes elastic pockets for attachable lumbar pads made of special foam to fill lumbar lordosis and enhance stabilization. The brace can be used with or without lumbar pads according to clinical need; the construction accommodates irregular body shapes such as wide hips or large abdomen.

Compression system
The device uses the CCA Compression System: steel wire and polyamide grommets with knobs provide a firm, non-elastic, easy and secure fastening. The system allows different compression levels and includes an element to modify the device shape or circumference. Adjustment is performed after the brace is put on the body, without tools.

Clinical benefits

Materials & Technology
ActiveSpace™ is a spacer polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is lightweight and composed of two layers with polyamide braids between them. ActiveSpace™ is non-elastic for improved stabilization; air flows freely between layers, minimizing water and moisture absorption. The material is waterproof.

Stiffenings
Abdominal pad: made of ABS, anatomical shape with rounded edges and longitudinal cuts to allow horizontal shaping and vertical stiffness; permits skin ventilation. Orthopedic stays from ABS prevent wrinkling and uncontrolled movement of orthosis fabrics.

Paddings
3D relief supports and lumbar pads are made of supporting foams or EVA foam, bonded with skin-friendly materials and adhesives. They have anatomical shapes and appropriate hardness/elasticity to relieve rigid elements and ensure therapeutic effect.
