Forward head position and rounded shoulders increase thoracic kyphosis, overload the spine and can reduce respiratory capacity. Restoring an upright alignment of the back, shoulders and neck balances the trunk, relieves discomfort and supports respiratory function. The AM-PES-07 is recommended as an adjunct to physiotherapy for posture correction.

Product description
The AM-PES-07 is designed to reposition the shoulder girdle toward a neutral physiological alignment and reduce excessive thoracic kyphosis. It supports postural correction, activates trunk musculature and contributes to improved respiratory and circulatory function.

The brace is built around an ultralight aluminum splint padded with a pressure-relieving upper-back pad and equipped with elastic shoulder straps. The anatomically shaped splint provides a stable support point during correction and prevents progression of exaggerated upper-back rounding. Padding is skin-friendly, reduces splint pressure and wicks moisture away from the skin.

Straps are made of resilient, flexible orthopaedic rubber with unidirectional elasticity to retract and position the shoulders into neutral alignment. Elastic adjustment straps provide a wide range of fit for most trunk sizes, reducing contracture of respiratory muscles and assisting breathing mechanics.

The aluminum upper-back splint resists external loads and can be used in advanced thoracic deformities, including cases related to osteoporosis. The AM-PES-07 is discreet under clothing and can be worn at home, in the office or during physical tasks requiring additional stabilization (e.g. lifting).
