Overview
The Adult Brain (Standard) phantom replicates average adult cerebral anatomy using urethane-based soft resin materials that mimic ultrasound, MRI and X‑Ray/CT tissue properties. It is compatible with barium-sulfate, iodine-based, gadolinium-based, microbubble and iron‑oxide contrast agents. For MRI, the phantom provides realistic T2 relaxation times for T2-weighted protocols and performs well in Proton Density imaging; T1 values are less realistic (~100 ms). Ventricles are inflatable (35 mL each) and can be filled with liquid. Phantom features and material properties can be customized on request to meet project requirements.
