Product Overview
The Adult Head (Modular) phantom HD-C02 is an openable modular head phantom designed for X‑Ray/CT, Ultrasound (US) and MRI applications. The calvaria is openable and removable to allow insertion and exchange of interchangeable brain inserts and accessory modules. Materials and geometry are engineered to reproduce acoustic, radiological and MR relaxation properties for static and dynamic imaging, training and QA tasks.

Usage & Procedure (Ultrasound)
For ultrasound scanning fill the skull cavity with water or a suitable coupling liquid via syringe or the rear opening to remove air pockets; alternatively fully submerge the phantom in a water tank and eliminate bubbles between skull and brain insert. After testing drain and dry before storage. For CT and MRI use standard positioning and acquisition protocols; tissues are optimized for realistic T2‑weighted MRI contrast (T1 values are shorter, ~100 ms).
