The ECM-6401 supports Intel Xeon D processors (Broadwell-DE), selectable as D-1548 (8 cores, 2.0GHz, 45W TDP) or D-1508 (2 cores, 2.2GHz, 25W TDP), delivering server-class reliability and long-term supply. The COM-Express Type 7 95×125mm specification emphasizes PCIe expansion and high-speed networking rather than display outputs. Memory is dual-channel DDR4 2400MHz SO-DIMM, up to 64GB. Expansion includes 1×PCIe x16, 1×PCIe x8 and 7×PCIe x1 (total 9 PCIe lanes) to accommodate 10GbE/25GbE NICs, NVMe storage HBAs, FPGA accelerators, crypto cards and other server-grade expansion for NFV, SDS and similar high-performance scenarios. Integrated networking options include Intel i225LM/IT (up to 2.5GbE) or Intel i210-AT, with support for 10G Base-KR side-band interconnect.
