Taktvoll has launched reusable tungsten needle electrodes designed for high-precision electrosurgical procedures. They are intended for surgical scenarios requiring meticulous manipulation, such as plastic surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and otolaryngology.

  • High-precision cutting: Ultra-fine needle tip with a curvature radius of 50μm enabling sub-millimetre cutting precision to reduce damage to surrounding tissues.
  • Simultaneous cutting and coagulation: High-frequency current technology provides cutting with concurrent coagulation to limit intraoperative bleeding and improve visibility.
  • High heat resistance and sharpness maintenance: Tip manufactured from tungsten (melting point >3400°C) that retains sharpness under high temperatures and shows greater wear resistance than conventional stainless-steel tips.
  • Low-power operation to minimize side effects: Effective electrosurgical waveform delivery at low power to micro target areas, reducing tissue necrosis and surgical smoke.
  • Insulated design for enhanced surgical safety: Shaft insulated with heat-resistant polymer with high dielectric strength; only 3 mm of the tip is exposed to prevent accidental burns.
