Description

Product Overview
HWTAi® African Swine Fever Virus Indirect ELISA Antibody Detection Kit uses the indirect ELISA method to detect ASFV-specific antibodies in pig whole blood, serum or plasma. Rapid antibody screening supports on-farm surveillance and helps limit disease spread and economic impact in swine production.

Benefits
  • One-step testing compatible with whole blood, serum and plasma samples.
  • Simple workflow suitable for on-site testing without extensive laboratory training.
  • Fast time to result: results displayed in about 15 minutes.
  • High throughput capability — individual test time ≤ 10 seconds at fastest; up to ~270 samples/hour under reported conditions.
  • Compact and portable detection equipment with mobile terminal operation and cloud-based quality control.
  • High analytical sensitivity comparable to enzyme-labeled kits.

Principle
Recombinant ASFV P30 antigen is pre-coated on microtiter plate wells. Diluted serum (or other sample type) is added and incubated. If ASFV-specific antibodies are present, they bind to the coated antigen. After washing to remove unbound material, enzyme-conjugated secondary reagent binds to antigen–antibody complexes. Following washes, substrate is added; enzymatic reaction produces a colored product. Reaction is stopped and absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader to determine result according to kit criteria.

Components
  • Test devices (microtiter plate with pre-coated antigen)
  • Droppers
  • Single buffer
  • IFU (Instructions for Use)

Other
  • Result interpretation: OD reading at 450 nm. Use the microplate reader and kit-provided cutoffs/criteria to classify positive, negative or gray-zone results.
