Description

Product overview
Labotemp Vacuum Furnace FVA-14 is a large-capacity ultra-high-temperature vacuum/atmosphere laboratory furnace designed for advanced thermal processing and materials research. It features a 20 L chamber (250 × 320 × 250 mm), MoSi₂ rod heating elements and reaches up to 1700°C (1600°C recommended working temperature). The FVA-14 supports vacuum heat treatment, pre-vacuum annealing, high-temperature sintering and controlled-atmosphere processing for ceramics, alloys, composites and powder metallurgy. Water-cooling is provided for safe operation at ultra-high temperatures and to extend component life. Labotemp furnaces are used in aerospace, semiconductor, energy and materials R&D laboratories.

Why choose Labotemp Vacuum Furnace FVA-14?
  • Ultra-high temperature capability up to 1700°C for demanding thermal processes.
  • Large 20 L chamber suitable for larger samples and pilot-scale trials.
  • MoSi₂ heating elements for fast thermal response and stable temperature control.
  • Industrial-grade cooling and design for reliable operation in research and production environments.

Features (summary)
  • MoSi₂ rod heating elements providing rapid heating, good efficiency and long life under frequent thermal cycling.
  • Large-capacity vacuum/atmosphere furnace engineered for processing up to 1700°C with high thermal uniformity.
  • Pre-vacuum operation enabling reduced-oxygen or inert-atmosphere processing to minimize oxidation.
  • 20 L chamber (250 × 320 × 250 mm) suitable for research samples, prototypes and pilot production.
  • Water-cooling protection system required for safe operation at ultra-high temperatures.
  • Electrical configuration: 380V / 7 kW for industrial-grade heat-up performance.

Applications
  • Sintering of advanced ceramics, heat treatment of metal alloys and composite materials development.
  • Materials research and production support in aerospace, semiconductor, energy and additive manufacturing sectors.
  • Powder metallurgy, electronic component processing and prototype development requiring controlled-atmosphere or reduced-oxygen environments.
