Product overviewLabotemp Vacuum Furnace FVA-16 is an ultra-high-temperature, large-capacity laboratory vacuum furnace designed for demanding thermal processing in industrial and research environments. It features a 45 L chamber (300×500×300 mm), a maximum temperature of 1700°C and a continuous working temperature of 1600°C. The FVA-16 supports vacuum heat treatment, vacuum annealing, high-temperature sintering, vacuum brazing and controlled-atmosphere processing for ceramics, metal alloys, composites and powder-metallurgy materials.
Heating and controlMoSi₂ rod heating elements provide fast ramp rates, high thermal efficiency and uniform temperature distribution with long cycle life. Temperature measurement is via a B-type (platinum-rhodium) thermocouple. Precise temperature profiles are managed by Yudian or Shimaden programmable controllers. The unit supports both vacuum and inert-gas atmospheres to reduce oxidation and contamination. Water-cooling protection and external chiller compatibility ensure stable operation during extended high-temperature use.
