All MediCare Gynae pessaries are a Class IIa Medical Device intended for short-term use (up to 30 days) and self-management. A ring pessary with a knob is primarily used to manage pelvic organ prolapse and sometimes stress urinary incontinence (SUI). It’s one of the most commonly used and well-tolerated pessary types, especially for mild to moderate cases.
