The Labotemp corundum tube furnace FMT-16 is a horizontal laboratory tube furnace rated to 1700°C (working ≤1550°C). The unit integrates an ∮80 mm corundum tube, a 350 mm heating zone and a 1200 mm total tube length within an 80×350 mm chamber. MoSi₂ heating rods, a B‑type thermocouple and PID control with 30‑segment time–temperature programming enable ±1°C accuracy and ±5°C uniformity at heating rates of 0–20°C/min. The horizontal tube design supports controlled‑atmosphere and vacuum configurations; touchscreen, PC software and safety interlocks are available as options.
