Product information
The Elektro-mag M 815 E is an economy-class laboratory centrifuge with a fixed-angle rotor designed for 8 x 15 ml tubes. It operates up to 5000 rpm (max. 2515 × g). The rotating head is polycarbonate and tube carriers are ABS hard plastic. The unit belongs to the E model range and requires pressing the stop button to stop operation; a rotor-stop sensor slows and stops rotation when the lid is opened as a safety measure.

What is a laboratory centrifuge?
A laboratory centrifuge separates components of different densities by applying centrifugal force. Samples in tubes are placed in a rotor that spins at high speed; denser particles move toward the tube wall to form a pellet while lighter components remain in the supernatant.

Where laboratory centrifuges are used?
They are used in clinical, hospital and research laboratories for blood processing, cell separation, sample preparation for molecular biology, protein and virus research, and routine diagnostic workflows.

Advantages of the Elektro-mag laboratory centrifuge
  • Lower acquisition cost for budget-conscious laboratories
  • Reliable basic performance for routine separations
  • Simple operation and maintenance
  • Configurable options depending on workflow needs
  • Integrated safety systems: lid switch and rotor-stop sensor
