The Elektro-mag M 4812 P is a benchtop laboratory centrifuge with a 35° fixed-angle rotor for 12 × 15 ml tubes. The PID digital microprocessor control allows precise speed adjustment from 500 to 5000 rpm (10 rpm increments) and achieves a maximum relative centrifugal force of 3057 x g. The unit supports 10 programmable programs, automatic start when set speed is reached, time intervals from 1 to 99 minutes, continuous run and pulse (short-run) modes. Safety features include a lid safety switch and a lid lock that prevents opening during operation. Construction combines a polycarbonate rotor, ABS tube nests, carbon steel housing with electrostatic powder paint and stainless steel casing. The brushless maintenance-free motor ensures reliable operation.
