Description

Product Information
Elektro-mag M 415 P laboratory centrifuge features a 35° fixed-angle rotor with capacity for 4 x 15 ml tubes and 10 programmable memory slots. PID digital microprocessor control and a digital display provide precise speed regulation from 500 to 5000 rpm. Maximum relative centrifugal force reaches 2515 x g. The integrated microprocessor programs support start delay, interval timing and short-run (pulse) modes for controlled separations. A lid lock prevents opening during operation for enhanced safety. The outer case is electrostatically coated carbon steel combined with ABS; internal casing is stainless steel. Rotor parts are polycarbonate and tube nests are ABS hard plastic.

What is a laboratory centrifuge?
A centrifuge is a laboratory instrument that separates sample components by density using centrifugal force. Tubes placed in a rotating rotor generate centrifugal force that causes denser particles to sediment while lighter components remain suspended, enabling fractionation of biological or chemical samples.

Where laboratory centrifuges are used
These centrifuges are used in academic, clinical and research laboratories for applications such as blood processing, cell separation, organelle isolation, virus and protein purification, and nucleic acid preparation—any workflow requiring density-based separation.

Advantages of the Elektro-mag laboratory centrifuge
  • Range covering basic to advanced configurations
  • Competitive initial investment
  • Configurable functions for diverse processes
  • Intuitive digital control and display for ease of use
  • Safety features including lid safety switch and lid lock
