The Tibial Proximal Lateral Combination Hole Locking Plate Type I is an extended anatomical fixation system designed for complex fractures of the proximal tibia requiring increased plate length and expanded fixation zones. Compared with the standard version, the Type I plate features a larger proximal segment and extended shaft geometry, allowing enhanced stabilization of extensive metaphyseal, diaphyseal, and bicondylar fracture patterns.

The broadened proximal section incorporates multiple multidirectional locking screw options for optimal subchondral support and fixation of large articular fragments. The extended shaft provides improved load distribution and increased fixation points, particularly beneficial in osteoporotic bone and highly comminuted fractures.

Combination holes allow both compression and locking fixation techniques to be used simultaneously, providing excellent construct versatility and biomechanical stability.
