Overview
The SMART PWD Series is an aseptic vacuum-pressure powder filling system engineered for challenging pharmaceutical powders and for dosing up to two different powders into the same vial, with integrated 100% check-weighing. It is designed for aseptic production lines and for next-generation antibiotic manufacturing where strict containment and sterility are mandatory.

Operational details and technical features
Dual-dosing is achieved via vacuum-pressure dosing units and dosing disk technology, enabling accurate dosing from small quantities (from 10 mg). The machine integrates 100% net and gross check-weighing systems (full IPC) and media-fill compatible groups for process validation. Stoppering and any integrated capping operations are performed at full operating speeds. The design supports intermittent-motion transport and can be adapted for operation inside containment or isolator environments.

Stops, controls and validation
The line includes 100% net and gross check-weighing stations and supports media-fill groups for process validation. Stopper presence and height checks and additional vision/inspection checks are integrated as part of the IPC strategy.
