Overview
Umbilical hernia occurs when intestine, fat or fluid pushes through a weak spot in the abdominal wall, creating a swelling near the navel that can increase over time. The condition is frequently related to physical exertion, obesity, pregnancy or postoperative scarring. Product description
The AM-PPB-01 is a wraparound umbilical hernia belt with an anatomically shaped oval silicone pad. Made of high-technology orthopaedic elastic rubber (black), the belt provides therapeutic compression while preserving diaphragmatic breathing and daily comfort. The elastic material allows normal activity with controlled support to reduce hernia protrusion.

The device features an anatomically contoured soft silicone pad fixed to the non-elastic section to close the hernia opening and maintain retention of the abdominal wall. The pad is available in two sizes (MINI and MAXI) to match hernia diameter. The pad can be removed to use the belt without it (e.g. general postoperative protection).

Warnings
