Short description
Dynamic scoliotic brace SCOLIOR™ is a non-invasive torso support for management and passive correction of pediatric scoliosis. It is intended to complement systematic physiotherapy and to help maintain corrective effects between exercises.

Purpose of use
– Management and passive correction of functional scoliosis in children; adjunct to physiotherapy.

Scoliosis (overview)
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional spinal deviation affecting frontal, sagittal and transverse planes. The most frequent form in children is idiopathic. Scoliosis may be structural or functional; functional scoliosis presents side-to-side curvature without spinal rotation and benefits from targeted physiotherapy combined with passive orthotic correction.

Product description
SCOLIOR™ consists of three semi-rigid pads integrated with a compressive BOA® Fit System and a strap assembly. Pads are manufactured from polyamide and covered with ActivePren™ — a three-layer material with a neoprene foam core and elastic jersey faces that provides flexibility and skin-friendly contact.

Working principle
The correction concept places one pad at the apex of curvature and two pads at correction bases. Adjusting the BOA® Fit dial increases compression via the strap system, providing consistent passive corrective force. BOA® enables precise, repeatable tightening compared with conventional hook-and-loop closures.
