Materials and components
Product made of AeroSpace™ material. AeroSpace™ is a distance-elastic 3D knitted fabric composed of two facing layers with an interlacing that provides controlled thickness and pressure relief. The knit uses polyester yarn for mechanical strength and spandex for flexibility. The material is very lightweight, highly flexible and features an openwork structure that enables sweat drainage and airflow to the skin. It is neutral to the secured joint, ensures appropriate compression and fit, reduces muscle vibration and its 3D structure relieves orthopedic splints, stays or other mounted elements while maintaining a soft feel.

Straps are made of ActiveRubber II™. ActiveRubber II™ is a strong bidirectional elastic braid that stretches in length and width to improve compression. The braid allows airflow and breathability; at high compression it provides a gentle massage effect on the skin. The orthopedic rubber is skin-friendly.

Plastic stays
Plastic stays are available in various widths and thicknesses, made of polyamide, ABS or acrylic; these parameters determine stiffness. They are resistant to water, moisture and sweat and allow washing the product without removing the stays. Plastic stays act in one direction, stabilize the laterally supported area, adapt to body shape and have memory to return to original shape. Plastic stays do not bend and therefore do not correct posture or the secured joint.

Orthopedic (metal) stays
Orthopedic stays are made of spring steel with plastic coating and rounded protected ends. Available in different widths, thicknesses and hardness levels; can be pre-shaped or flat. They act in one direction, adapt to the body and stabilize the laterally supported area. They are corrosion-protected and resistant to water, moisture and sweat and may remain in the orthosis during washing. Orthopedic stays do not bend and therefore do not correct posture or the secured joint.
