Description
AM-SO-02 lumbar back support with elastic fasteners was developed according to anatomical shape and provides an adequate level of stabilization on the lumbar area. The back part of the support is made of Active3D™. Front and lateral parts are made of AirRubber™. Fastening belts are made of AirRubber III™. The back support can be supplied with an optional LUMBAR PAD (extra price) equipped with pressure points allowing additional compression on the lumbosacral area.

Materials / Technology
Active3D™ is a thermoformed, closed-cell fabric that reduces pressure and abrasions from orthopaedic stays and aluminum splints. It is waterproof, does not absorb sweat, easy to clean and may be thermoformed to functional shapes. AirRubber™ is a perforated lamination with unidirectional elasticity, breathable and skin-friendly; in high compression its braid structure provides a gentle massage. AirRubber III™ has unidirectional elasticity (increasing length but not width) improving compression while allowing airflow between braids. Lumbar supports are produced by polyethylene injection and are embossed to relieve back muscles. Orthopedic profiled stays are made of spring steel with plastic coating and rounded ends; stays adapt to the body and stabilize the laterally protected part of the body. Orthopedic ABS stays are cut from boards to prevent wrinkling and uncontrolled fabric movement. 3D relief supports are made of supporting foams or EVA foam connected with skin-friendly materials to relieve rigid orthosis elements.
