Purpose of use
BACK PAIN
Back pain in children may result from prior injuries, obesity, prolonged poor posture or carrying heavy backpacks. Musculoskeletal causes are common; inadequate posture and excess load impair circulation and respiratory function. Overweight children can experience increased load on muscles, ligaments and bones, intensifying pain. Prompt diagnosis and physiotherapy reduce inflammation and symptoms. Muscular back pain often improves with rest; the AM‑WSP‑06 is indicated to support the thoracic and lumbar regions and relieve pain.
HOW DOES AM‑WSP‑06 WORK?
The AM‑WSP‑06 stabilizes the thoracic and lumbar spine and promotes correct posture. The main component includes anatomically shaped splints that unload the thoracic and lumbar segments, stabilize vertebrae and reduce pressure on spinal structures. Additional shoulder and scapular pads maintain a neutral shoulder position, encouraging proper posture. The brace prevents a rounded‑back posture and improves respiratory and circulatory function.
MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION
Main part: innovative breathable fabric AirSanmed II™. AirSanmed™ is non‑elastic for firm stabilization; inner contact layer is cotton terry (Oeko‑Tex Standard 100). Semi‑rigid perforated EVA foam protects skin from metal splints. External side: perforated medical laminate with antibacterial Silver Zeolite for prolonged antimicrobial effect. AirRubber™ abdominal strap: orthopaedic breathable lamination with unidirectional elasticity; perforated weave allows air flow and gentle skin massage. Belt includes anatomical orthopedic stays and a wide front fastening to adjust compression.
Two anatomically shaped aluminium splints are positioned adjacent to the spine (they reflect anatomical curves and can be shaped to individual needs) plus two flexible frontal stays for additional stabilization in the sagittal plane. Crisscrossing elastic circumferential straps ensure splints and stays conform to the spine curvature; interscapular crossing provides an optimal support point. Armpit straps include soft pads to relieve pressure in the axillary region.
