The Astrolabe Hallux Valgus 2.7 mm system features an intramedullary fixation design that provides three-dimensional stability, enabling controlled compression and angular support across the osteotomy or fusion site.

It is indicated for the surgical correction of hallux valgus deformities and Tailor’s bunion (bunionette), offering stable fixation while promoting anatomical alignment and biomechanical balance of the forefoot.

The system provides a comprehensive solution for a wide range of forefoot procedures, including fracture fixation, delayed unions and non-unions, corrective osteotomies, joint decompression, reconstruction, arthrodesis, and fusion of small bones.

It is intramedullary construct allows optimized load sharing within the metatarsal canal, minimizing soft tissue irritation while enhancing construct stability and conditions favorable for reliable osseous consolidation.
