The Astrolabe Forefoot 2.7 system is indicated for the correction and stabilization of a broad range of forefoot arthrodesis and osteotomy procedures, with particular focus on the first metatarsal (MT1) and the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint.

The plating system includes anatomically contoured plates designed to accommodate different anatomical curvatures and patient-specific requirements. Multiple profile options allow optimized fit, stable fixation, and appropriate load distribution across fusion or osteotomy sites. The plates support both locking and non-locking fixation techniques, enabling angular stability, controlled compression, or hybrid constructs according to clinical needs.

In addition to the plating system, the Forefoot 2.7 set comprises a comprehensive assortment of:

• 2.5 × 3.2 mm and 3.0 × 3.9 mm Cannulated Compression Screws for precise guided insertion and interfragmentary compression,
• Ø 2.0 mm Removable Insert Cortical Screws, and
• Mini Staples for small bone fixation and supplementary stabilization.

Together, these components provide a versatile and integrated solution for small bone fixation, arthrodesis, reconstructive procedures, and corrective osteotomies of the forefoot, supporting stable constructs and predictable osseous consolidation.
