OverviewThe Kaye RF ValProbe loggers are wireless data loggers designed for industrial cold-chain and environmental monitoring in warehouses, test chambers, refrigerators and freezers. Each logger includes an internal RH sensor and either an internal or an external temperature sensor option. The device supports analogue inputs and local data storage to ensure validated data capture when RF communication is unavailable.
Key details- Internal RH sensor: 0–100% RH, ±2% RH accuracy
- Internal temperature: -40°C to 60°C, ±0.5°C accuracy
- External temperature option: -200°C to 200°C, accuracy ±0.1°C to ±0.3°C (sensor-dependent)
- Local data storage: up to 10,000 samples per sensor; battery life example: ~2 years at 1-min sample rate
Features- Mesh RF networking (global 2.4 GHz) for reliable, self-forming wireless links
- Supports 4/20mA, 0–10V and contact switch inputs
- Stores data locally when RF network is not available and automatically forwards stored data when communication resumes
- Operates standalone or connected to PC for configuration and data retrieval
- Intuitive study setup, comprehensive calculations and best-in-class analysis and reporting tools
- Provides temperature resolution to 0.1°C and RH to 2% RH
ApplicationsTypical use cases include cold-chain monitoring, environmental testing, pharmaceutical storage, laboratory chambers and any application requiring validated temperature and humidity records. The mesh architecture supports up to ~100 nodes, allowing robust coverage in dynamic or RF-challenged industrial environments.
