Functional principleAir is drawn from the laboratory; an airflow curtain at the work opening prevents the escape of hazardous substances. Fresh air mixes with contaminated air and is directed through intake grilles to the filters. Cleaned exhaust air is routed partly to the building exhaust and partly back into the work area. The exhaust stream is continuously filtered, removing hazardous substances directly at the source.
