Description

Overview The HFCplus safety weighing cabinet delivers precise weighing conditions for micro‑ and semi‑microbalances while ensuring personal, product and environmental protection. It combines low‑turbulence inward airflow, optional two‑stage HEPA H14 filtration and an energy‑saving “e‑mode” that reduces basic functions when the unit is idle. Visual light signals indicate operating status and alarms. Available as a benchtop version or with a base frame; ergonomic legroom and a low‑vibration ceramic work surface support reproducible results.

Applications
  • Biotech & Life Sciences
  • Laboratory & Research
  • Food Industry
  • Hospital & Pharmacy

Protection categories
  • Personal protection
  • Product protection
  • Environmental protection

Key features
  • Enhanced personal protection — Systematically tested protection to minimise operator exposure to particles and microorganisms.
  • Energy‑saving “e‑mode” — Automatic performance reduction (motion sensors) to cut energy use while maintaining safe airflow and protection.
  • Visual status display — Light signals for operating status and alarms to support process control.
  • Bag‑Out filter replacement — Safe filter removal without contamination risk for maintenance.
  • Continuous filter monitoring — Real‑time saturation monitoring for timely maintenance and consistent air cleanliness.
  • Filter type detection — Automatic identification of installed filters to prevent incorrect use and assist qualification.
  • Ergonomic design — Generous legroom and optimally positioned controls for comfortable operation.
  • Qualifiable filters — Support for validation, documentation and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
  • Handling of active substances — Enables safe handling of powdered, active and toxic substances.
  • Sample and product transfer — Suitable for sampling and product transfer with reproducible results and high operator safety.
  • Precise weighing according to USP — Stable airflow and low‑vibration ceramic work surface compatible with micro‑ and semi‑microbalances.

Functional principle Low‑turbulence inward airflow prevents particles and aerosols from leaving the work zone. The option of two consecutive HEPA H14 filters captures contaminants at the source. The optimised flow design provides proven maximum protection for personnel and the environment.

Energy‑saving e‑mode The "e" stands for economic and ecological. E‑mode reduces airflow speed and nonessential functions to save energy while maintaining protection. Motion sensors detect use; e‑mode can be activated manually via touchscreen or automatically after 5, 10 or 20 minutes. A blue light indicates active e‑mode.
