Description

Summary
The Chemical Dispensing Station is a compact standalone solution designed for controlled handling and dispensing of hazardous liquids up to 25 L in laboratory, hospital and pharmacy environments. Exhaust air is treated through a high-performance activated carbon filter. The station meets COSHH requirements and provides source-level extraction to reduce exposure risks and maintain safe working conditions.

Application and protection
  • Application: Hospital & Pharmacy
  • Protection category: Personal protection; Environmental protection

Characteristics
  • Certified user protection — Extracts hazardous substances at source to protect laboratory personnel.
  • Compact design — Space-saving construction suitable for varied laboratory layouts.
  • Quiet operation — Noise level from 52 dB for unobtrusive use in clinical or laboratory settings.
  • Efficient airflow — Targeted extraction at the work surface ensures consistent air quality and optimal working conditions.

Requirements
  • Safe chemical handling — Captures vapours from substances such as formalin, formaldehyde and mild acids directly at the work surface to minimise inhalation risk.
  • Odour control — Exhaust filtration reduces unpleasant odours to maintain a comfortable work environment and protect staff health.
  • Flexible deployment — Standalone operation allows rapid installation and use across different rooms independent of existing infrastructure.

Functional principle
Inward-directed airflow contains aerosols within the working area to protect operators: air is guided inward and extracted through an activated carbon medium. Different activated carbon variants are available to capture solvent vapours effectively at the source.

Technical specifications
  • External dimensions (W x D x H) in mm: 650 x 600 x 2023
  • Internal working space dimensions (W x D x H) in mm: 600 x 600 x 760
  • Work opening height in mm: 590 x 300
