OverviewBiotage® Flash 400 is a skid-mounted flash chromatography system engineered for kilogram-scale purification and production environments. It provides a complete purification skid for scale-up from development to cGMP manufacturing and accommodates a wide range of stationary phases and solvent systems.
Benefits- Enables faster scale-up: operates safely up to 100 psi (6.9 bar) to support higher flow rates and higher-viscosity solvents. Radial compression technology minimizes wall effects and channeling, maintaining bed stability for cleaner fractions and improved overall yield.
- Designed for cGMP production: supplied with an ASME "UM" stamp, CE and ATEX certifications, and certified for use in Japan, Europe and North America. Each system is delivered with comprehensive engineering documentation, a certificate of performance and a certificate of compliance to support validation filing.
- Safety for high-solvent operations: configurable for explosion-proof, non-sparking areas. Air-driven pump and hoists, proper grounding and pressure-relief devices are included.
- Flexible cartridge support: compatible with routine normal-phase flash and challenging separations using reversed-phase silica, activated carbon, low-metal/acid-washed silica, Mitsubishi Diaion™ HP20SS resins, ion-exchange media or custom/client-packed cartridges.
