Detailed description- Chemical nature: propylsulfonic acid functionalized silica (non end-capped), prepared using a trifunctional silane.
- Sorbent type: strong cation exchange (SCX) with minimal non-polar character for extraction of basic analytes from aqueous matrices.
- Primary applications: isolation/separation of basic targets from reaction mixtures; removal of excess basic reagents; supports neutral or acidic species to pass through during scavenging or catch-and-release procedures.
